October is always hard to style, some days the sun is shining, and we have clear blue skies other days it's pouring down and the temperature drops! We have a few tips on how to find the perfect outfit to suit this transitional season.
This look is ideal for when the weather is overcast, and the temp is still not summery. The turtleneck and jeans will keep you warm when the sun is shining and adding the jacket for when the wind picks up. This black and white jacket helps add some colour to your look without being too extreme.
Wide leg pants are a trend that we noticed in Japan that has made its way to New Zealand. The wide leg pants are a tricky one as they don't always suit. I find wearing them with a pointed toe shoe (flat or heeled) stops them from making you look to short! The jacket created in a beautiful crushed linen jacket, we added a three-quarter quarter Bardot style top underneath and snitched in the waist. Perfect look for the office.
Winter is always about adding as many warm layers as possible when the sun finally comes out in spring add a graphic print t-shirt to your weekly wardrobe. This is a classic look that should be a staple in every women's wardrobe, no matter your age. Add a bright springtime lipstick and a pair of heels, and you're set for dinner with the girls.
Need one of these jackets in your wardrobe?
